This was another great episode. I understand why you want to make it subscriber only, but consider something less drastic – maybe release to the public a couple of weeks later, or make every third or fourth episode paywalled. How else will you grow? I only started listening in June and now it’s my favorite podcast. Inez is phenomenal. I’ve been sending links to everyone I know. Clown Car isn’t just a nice perk for subscribers to your newsletter – it is the main draw for some people. Also, will they all be paywalled, including eg this episode, or just future episode?
Could we get transcripts? I read way faster than I can listen and I'd much prefer even a machine transcription with inevitable errors to the choice of committing scarce listening time or missing out.
AI transcripts are really, really bad. It depends on how you talk, they don't work with me at all. Most podcast players will let you listen at 2-3x speed, that's what I usually do.

I've had good luck with Temi as a transcription service. Listening at high speed - ugh.
Message aside, the talent and emotion from the song alone makes it a positive development. Most music today is dull, monotonous garbage
